On behalf of the faculty and staff at RCS I am excited to welcome all of you to the 2023-2024 academic school year. As a reminder the doors will open and school will officially begin at 7:40 tomorrow morning. Students are encouraged to bring in water bottles and dress for the warm afternoon.
Required paperwork will be sent home as a packet to each household. Please sign the materials as soon as possible and return to Patti Lambrigger in the Guidance Office.

The RCS Summer Adventure Club had its first field trip this summer last week with a water theme. About 50 students, who had just completed pre-k through sixth trade visited the Beaverkill Trout Hatchery where they learned about the fish Roscoe is well known for, as well Little Pond campground where they were able to swim like fish or play in the sand.
On June 23, the annual Blue Devil Pride Ceremony was held at RCS, where seniors asked a faculty or staff member to write about them. Thank you to the cafeteria staff for a delicious breakfast. Later that day, those seniors became RCS alumni at ceremony in the gymnasium. Congratulations to the #RCSClassOf2023!
The members of the Class of 2023 thanks the Kiwanis Club of Roscoe for hosting their annual Senior Night at the Rockland House on June 12. Seniors attended the meeting with family members and shared a favorite experience from RCS and their plans. Thanks to all of the members of the Kiwanis Club for their support and inspiration over the years.
Before the end of the school year, students in Art 8 completed an Abstract Sculpture project. They started with a wood block, piece of wire and a nylon stocking and ended with some creative results
Today's the day! Graduation will be at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. Congratulations, graduates.
Thank you to Mrs. Phillips, Mrs. Scardino, the Kiwanis Club, and the PTA for sponsoring the fifth and sixth grade honor day. The students had so much fun!
Mrs. Bullis and the elementary students said "Thank You!" to the RCS staff with a performance of the "Thank You Tango," before leaving for the school year. As the buses left, the staff waved "Goodbye and see you next year!"
