Hello Blue Devils! RCS will be closed today, Friday, November 22nd, 2024, due to inclement weather. Again, RCS will be closed today. Be safe, Blue Devils!
There will be no school today, 11/22, due to the weather. All parent/teacher conferences scheduled for today are also canceled. We will communicate rescheduling information for those conferences in the near future. None of the practices or events scheduled for after school today will be taking place, including the middle school dance. Stay safe and enjoy the day!
All after school activities are canceled for today, 11/21. This includes athletic practices. The Green Footsteps Club will also not be held, but will be rescheduled at a later date.
Parent/Teacher Conference Day is Friday, November 22nd, and there will be an 11:30 dismissal for students on that day. Grades 5-12 report cards for the 1st marking period are now available to view on the SchoolTool portal. PreK-4 report cards will be handed out at conferences on November 22nd or sent home in folders after that. Looking ahead, there will be no school on November 27-29 for the Thanksgiving Break.

We wanted to provide a reminder that Arbiter Sports Winter registration is open for our Varsity, Junior Varsity and Modified student-athletes at https://hello.students.arbitersports.com/. Please ensure your child's physical is up-to-date before the start of the season.
Additionally, Varsity and Junior Varsity winter practices begin on Monday, Nov. 18. Modified winter sports practices for all teams will commence Monday, Nov. 25.
We are excited to see our student-athletes on the court!
While the season may not have concluded as our girls soccer team had envisioned, we want to take a moment to celebrate their incredible hard work and dedication throughout the entire journey. They truly had an outstanding run, and we are extremely proud of all they have accomplished!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the team, coaches, parents, and our amazing communities for coming together to support and cheer them on. Your encouragement and support has made this season truly unforgettable!

Misleading information was recently circulating in the Roscoe community concerning the accuracy of financial information and data being provided by the Livingston Manor and Roscoe Central School Districts regarding the proposed merger. We want to clarify that yes, Reorganization Incentive Operating Aid is capped at 95% of the merged districts' Approved Operating Expense, however, the combined districts' AOE for Livingston Manor and Roscoe would not reach the 95% threshold for the cap to apply.
Please see the attached document that contains financial information provided by the Questar III BOCES State Aid Planning Service and verified as accurate by the NYS Department of Education regarding the AOE. The information is also included in the merger study addendum.
