*End of the School Year Calendar Information for 2023-2024*
Students in Grades 7-12: The last full day of regular school attendance for students in grades 7-12 will be Thursday, June 13th. After that, students only come in for final exams or Regents exams. For grades 7&8, students will have scheduled final exams on June 14th, June 17th, and June 18th. Grades 9-12 Regents exams will take place from June 14th - June 25th. Specific dates and times for final exams and Regents exams will be provided by classroom teachers. There is no school (and no exams) on June 19th due to the Juneteenth holiday.
Students in Grades PreK-6:
School days for the end of the school year will occur as follows:
Wednesday, June 19th - no school (holiday)
Thursday, June 20th - last full day (regular day, 7:40-2:40)
Friday, June 21st - half day (11:30 dismissal)
Monday, June 24th - half day (11:30 dismissal & final day of attendance for students in PreK-6)
Sullivan BOCES, in coordination with the Mid-Hudson School Study Council and Mount Saint Mary College, is reaching out to those who may want to become teachers.
The ideal candidates are those who have college credits or a college degree and a desire to teach or change careers and try teaching.
The first step for those who may be interested is taking a survey, available at https://tinyurl.com/2bejbdwx. Surveys must be completed by May 17.
That will be followed by an informational session at 5 p.m. June 4 at Sullivan BOCES, at 15 Sullivan Ave. in Liberty.

Attention Parents of current RCS students:
As part of the School Climate Transformation Grant, we are asking you to please take a few minutes to complete the following survey (link to the survey: https://forms.gle/JmK5aa1TcWivAnkE9). All responses are anonymous and no email addresses will be collected upon submission. The responses from the survey will help us plan and use grant funding in the best way to support the needs of our district. This has been done yearly throughout the grant period to gain insight on the programs we are implementing and the impact they are having on the climate of our school. We will be hosting the annual Wildcat Varsity Baseball and Softball Tournament on this Saturday, April 27th at the Livingston Manor Athletics Complex. This event is hosted by Roscoe and Livingston Manor Athletics. There will be food vendors on site and the Class of 2025 selling concessions. We hope to see you all there. Go Blue Devils!!

We will be hosting the RCS & LMCS Youth Basketball Tournament on this Saturday, April 20th in the Livingston Manor main gym for grades 3-6. This event is hosted by Athletics, the Kaplan Foundation, and the Catskill Cardinals. Registration starts at 9 AM. We hope to see you there. Thank you and have a nice weekend.
Save the Date: Several RCS K-12 students will be participating in the annual Sullivan County Art Show held at Bethel Woods! The public is invited to attend this show, please come to support our local artists. While there, you'll be mesmerized by the talent and creativity of all the student artists, at the historic Woodstock site!

Due to the forecasted weather and predicted icy conditions for tomorrow, we have a few changes in our planned youth basketball event. The Youth Basketball Tournament that was scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, March 23rd will now be held on Saturday, April 20th at LMCS. Thank you and be safe.

Due to the inclement weather we will be cancelling all after school activities today, March 20th. Thank you, and be safe!
While this winter has been relatively mild in terms of snow, it has had its challenges. As of today we have three (3) unused emergency days remaining that were built into the school calendar for the 2023-24 school year.
The following changes are contingent upon having NO more emergency closing days between now and May 22nd, 2024. If there is a need to close, we will need to revisit our proposed use of give back days.
If no emergency closures occur between now and March 27th, then Thursday, March 28th, 2024 will be a give back day with NO SCHOOL for all students and staff. This would make Spring break from Thursday, March 28th to Monday April 8th, 2024. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024.
Additionally, if no emergency days occur between April 9th and May 22nd, then Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 will also be a give back day with no school for all students and staff. Thank you!
Hello Blue Devils! Just a reminder, registration for the Livingston Manor/Roscoe Cal Ripken baseball and softball league closes this Friday, March 15th. Children ages 4 through 12 are welcome to sign up. Paper registration forms have been sent home and need to be postmarked by March 15th. REMINDER...2024/2025 PreKindergarten Registration
Registration for children entering Pre-kindergarten in September 2024
will be held March 15, 2024.
For Pre-kindergarten, children must be 4 years old by December 1, 2024.
Registration packets will be mailed to all parents of students in our
preschool census. If you have a child who meets the required age,
please contact Mrs. Patti Lambrigger at 607-498-4126 Ext. 6236 or

our PreK list.
