The RCS Class of 2025 is holding a Winter Coat, Hat & Mitten Drive to benefit the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless. Donations will be accepted in the lobby of the RCS Gymnasium until Friday, December 8th. All Items should be clean and in good condition.

The Class of 2025 is selling candles from November 17th- November 27th. The candles are $11 each and will be delivered before the holiday break. If you are interested please reach out to a member of the Junior Class or Ms. Hood (at the school).

This Thursday, November 9th, there will be a Veterans Day Ceremony for all students, staff, and visitors. It will be held in the RCS Auditorium from 8:50 - 9:32. Good Afternoon Roscoe Community, There will be a brief athletics send off in the back parking lot of Roscoe Central School on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at 2:15 PM. Please come out and support the Varsity Girls Soccer team who will be competing in the New York State Regional Class D Title Game on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, 7 PM at Mechanicville High School. Go Blue Devils!
The Livingston Manor/Roscoe Lady Widcats Varsity Soccer will take on Fort Ann in the Class D Sub-Regional Tournament. The game will be played at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Mechanicville High School at 25 Kniskern Ave. in Mechanicville. Those who wish to attend must purchase tickets, at $8 plus a service fee, in advance online (https://gofan.co/event/1137701?schoolId=NYSPHSAAII). Those who can't make it, can watch the livestream (https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/associations/nysphsaas2/soccer). The Roscoe and Livingston Manor fire departments will escort the girls' bus through both hamlets, starting at 2:15 p.m. in Roscoe and around 2:30 p.m. in Livingston Manor. Please line the main streets and the schools’ back parking lots to show the girls your support. Good Luck Lady Wildcats!!

Good Afternoon Blue Devils: The Winter Athletics Electronic Registration program through Arbiter Sports will open on Monday, October 16th, 2023 at 8 AM for all JV/Varsity Athletes. Modified Registration will open on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 at 8 AM. Please remember to complete these prior to the start of all winter athletics including a copy of valid physicals. On October 4, 2023 the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) test.
The test includes sending a "test message" to all televisions, radios and cell phones.
At approximately 2:20 pm Eastern Standard Time, all powered on cellphones within range of a cell tower will receive a test alert message as part of FEMA’s nationwide test of its Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS).

School Picture Day is coming next Thursday, September 14th for students in grades PreK-11. Order forms will be coming home with your students! Forms will also be available upon request from the main office.

On behalf of the faculty and staff at RCS I am excited to welcome all of you to the 2023-2024 academic school year. As a reminder the doors will open and school will officially begin at 7:40 tomorrow morning. Students are encouraged to bring in water bottles and dress for the warm afternoon.
Required paperwork will be sent home as a packet to each household. Please sign the materials as soon as possible and return to Patti Lambrigger in the Guidance Office.
