As the Livingston Manor-Roscoe school merger study continues, we are continuing to gather public opinion about the possible merger.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the exit survey held during the May budget vote. Most of the 88 Roscoe voters who responded to the exit survey said they support the possible merger. A complete report about the exit survey can be found on the Merger Study page.
The Merger Committee will have its next meeting Tuesday, June 28, here at Roscoe Central School, with the final meeting slated for late July at LMCS. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. and are open to the public. Zoom links will be provided for anyone who cannot attend in person.
In July, all district residents are invited to participate in a series of focus group discussions about the possible merger, as the merger study wraps up. The schedule is as follows:
July 19: 6:30-7:30 via Zoom (link to be provided)
July 21: 10-11 a.m., Roscoe CSD (in-person)
July 21: 3-4 p.m., Livingston Manor CSD (in-person)
