After being shut down by COVID in 2020, the Livingston Manor Central School District fitness center will be open to all LMCS and Roscoe Central School staff and all registered Livingston Manor and Roscoe CSD residents starting Wednesday, June 1.
The fitness center, part of the district's Community Schools initiative, will be open for use from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday on all days that school is in session and throughout the summer. These hours are subject to change and may be extended based on use of the facility. Access to the fitness center will be through the main entrance used to access the gym for basketball games.
A certified personal trainer will be available to assist members in the proper use of the equipment and facility. The trainer is also available to assist registered members in developing personal fitness programs.
An annual $5 membership fee is required for all community members to cover the cost of their ID card. The membership fee is waived for all LMCS & RCS employees. However, they must have their LMCS or RCS ID badge to use the facility.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of this great opportunity as we all work to make our schools and communities healthier.
