Rockland Central School District is working with Blueprint Strategic Planning on shaping the new district’s mission, vision and core values and creating a strategic plan with a goal of providing a robust and quality education for all students.
As part of that process, the district, in coordination with Blueprint, is seeking feedback from all members of the community, staff, faculty and students to help shape Rockland’s future.
The strategic plan will outline the district’s long-term educational goals and provide an outline of steps, with measurable outcomes, on how to achieve these goals.
The Shaping Our Future ThoughExchange, available at https://tejoin.com/scroll/897595391, is the first step in this process. The district Board of Education and administration is asking stakeholders to provide thoughtful feedback focused on the educational and programmatic strengths and weaknesses of the current districts, focused on providing educational excellence and clearly defined educational outcomes for our students. Comments and ratings should be geared toward educational opportunities, improvements and educational and curricular priorities to help the district start the strategic planning process.
The ThoughtExchange will close April 18.
The strategic plan process will continue with reviewing feedback, defining priorities, setting action plans to accomplish objectives, identifying the who, when and how of the plan, creating a roadmap and setting the plan in motion.
More details on the plan will be provided as work progresses.
